Description

Guji Uraga

Region

Describing the Guji Uraga region of Ethiopia, we can say it's a coffee lover's dream location. Located in southern Ethiopia, near the Kenyan border, this region is surrounded by natural forests and fertile soils, which provide the perfect environment for coffee cultivation. The volcanic, mineral-rich soils are ideal for the Arabica coffee plant, while the altitude of 1,750 to 2,300 meters above sea level provides an optimal environment for the ripening of coffee cherries.

Small farmers in the region have traditionally lived in harmony with nature, hand-picking coffee cherries and taking them to the washing station. It is here that farmers have been able to discover the mystery behind the different types of coffee grown here, providing a unique variety to lovers of this delicious brew. Thanks to the incredible quality of Guji Uraga coffees, this region has become a favorite destination among coffee lovers from around the world.
